Kelvin started paragliding at the age of 16, he was born into the paragliding family and tagged along with his Dad Douglas from an early age.

One of our rising stars, Kelvin has been competing in local comps since 2015, winning his class in Porterville. He is also the youngest person in South Africa to have flown 306km cross country from Copperton.

On the 29th of June, during the Barberton competition, he flew into powerlines whilst on landing approach in a small clearing mid competition route. He sustained 62% burns across his lower body. He has been in the ICU Burns ward in Milpark fighting for survival as he undergoes operation after operation.

A trust fund has been set up to assist in the much needed financial aid he will require going forward. He is part of our tribe, and is in need of our assistance, please open your hearts to the plight of this youngster, as a community we can ease the burden of the very long road to recovery that he has to face.

Please read the full story here www.kelvintrust.co.za

Together, we really can make a difference.

Kind regards

Tracey
