The new 777 Queen2

After a long wait, 777 are finalizing the certification of the new Queen2.

, the first size to be certified and available is the MS, which is already homologated for a weight range going from 79 to 99kgs. The first of the MS size wings are set to hit the early-bird dealers in December.

It certainly caught some attention at Coupe Icare 2017 where it did very well in the fun glide competition, despite a knot in a line affecting the trailing edge:

The Queen 1 had a excellent glide, but it did not climb that well in light lift. Word from the designers are that the Queen2 has an outstanding climb in all conditions!

I'm sure there are a few local pilots that cannot wait to fly this new creation from the Valič brothers.
